California Pride Keychain — Handmade | Double-Sided Laser-Engraved Leather

California is not a postcard. It is a place people argue about, leave, return to, and still claim.
This keychain is built for that claim. Full-grain leather, cut in a cattle-tag silhouette, laser-engraved on both sides so the mark reads from either direction. One side holds a pine ridgeline, the word CALIFORNIA set in an arch, and a bear in profile. The other holds the state itself, a single star set in the north, and the name inside the outline.
The engraving burns the design into the leather rather than printing it on. Edges darken, the center stays warmer, and the contrast sits in the grain instead of on top of it. A metal ring and snap close the strap. No plastic, no novelty hardware, no “welcome to” copy.
It is sized to live on a key ring or a bag and still be readable at arm’s length. The shape is familiar from livestock tags; the content is not. Wear it if California is part of how you identify, not if you need a reminder of a trip.
